236. Amanda Poem by Jaden Knight

236. Amanda

Tears fall down your cheeks again
a monsoon has started on your face
honouring yet another break up
even though this one was not your fault

You tried to fix him up
but you got broken as a result
near sold yourself off for scrap
left in a lake of misery
and no one wants to help you with repairs

Maybe wait for the desert season
when the pool has dried away
so you can salvage what is left
emotional dents to be hammered out
but your bodywork will require no action

What you do next is up to you
do you seek to love again
fearing that the rains may return
but giving you the chance for eternal sunlight

Time will heal a wounded heart..even if you said enough is enough I won't fall in love again. But then you will find someone new who will help you fix the broken pieces and start to love again..Love still moves in a mysterious ways..
