In the evening of life
When I open my eye lids
I see the black sea
And the grey desert.
Now blue has gone
From the sky of my heart
And the greenness around me
Has faded away.
The tree of my life is about to die
And the buds are shaken
From the branches
Before turning into blossoms.
In the sky of my dream
I see only shadow of nightmare
And the wind of depression
Is blowing from the west.
Now no star twinkles
In the sky of my heart
And the moon seems
To be a cartoon.
My mind is now filled
Only with few haphazard thoughts
And it will be tranquilized
With the showers of your Love.
Perhaps again my dream
Will be colourful
When your Love will shine
In the sky of my heart.
