These two gave me the best laugh. The Pope is German he drove an old Volkswagen God kept it running. Speedy Gonzales must have been a Latino illegal alien? Hilary Clinton has eaten the presidency. Not my choice either. Hilary Clinton can taste the presidency she's not my taste though

Very interesting Haiku's indeed Herbert, you definitely do have the syllable count spot on. Haiku is one of my favourite forms of poetry, I see these Haiku's are contemporary rather than traditional. I like the change, I find a touch of humor in some, some of a rather serious nature, all in all they're very good. --Melvina--

dandruff, polka, Pope, and Library of Congress-these four brought a smile. you do get the syllable counts right, but sometimes your haiku seems the foreplay of a limerick.

Voting here seems as efficient as the 'ole American Electoral College. I rate them all a 10, but then again I'm only French through association.
