20th Century Poem by Neeraj Kumar

20th Century

Rating: 5.0

They say money can't buy happiness
I say the time has changed
Everybody just want the money cars and fame

Back when I tried to put a ring on my lover's hand
I guess she wanted a much expensive one so now she's with someone else

I got money right now
So I'm everybody's friend
If I lose it all
They will never speak again

Marriage in the 20s
Where's the fun in that
Lust is the new love
For them it's just a game

I'm not the same what I used to be
I'm self made so I selfish
They've just seen my cars
Take a look my scars
