2025 Wishlist (Sonnet #250) Poem by Tina Baaklini

2025 Wishlist (Sonnet #250)

My wishlist for next year has nine names,
The top of the list holds you, my love.
Then comes 'my everything, ' which is you again;
May God unite our hearts here and above.

The third name is 'my heart'; ah, it's you!
Now guess the fourth, it reads: 'my gift from fate.'
Next, 'my friend who chases away my blues, '
Your heart is my bliss; my life you radiate.

'My soul, eternal and true, ' comes next
Then one big ❤, my soulmate and my man,
Before the last: 'my sea of tenderness, '
First syllable: a musical note, last: team's anagram.

O soulmate, it's you, you and you encore—
You're the one I want forevermore.
