2024's & 2025's New Year's Resolutions For My Prayer's Circle Poem by Roxanne Dubarry

2024's & 2025's New Year's Resolutions For My Prayer's Circle

2024

1) Psalm 1: 1-13 Blessed is the one who does not walk
in step with wicked that sinners take or sit in the company
of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the LORD,
and who mediates on His law day and night. That person
is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its
fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither--whatever
they do prospers.

2) Why would you run away from Jesus Christ's Collections?
'Dear Lord I am coming to you just the way that I am.'

'I don't know what to do with the rest of my life. All I know
I am very tired of having things my own way and I don't
what to say, dear Lord to you.' NIV 11/21/23

3) Why you shouldn't risk being lukewarm?

'To him who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with me
on my throne, just as I overcame and sat with my Father
on His throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the
Spirit says to the churches.' Revelation 3: 1 NIV.

4) Love your neighbor

Love casts out all fear, heartaches, hatred, and wipes away
all our tears. Loves does survive the lonely years.

We wound our neighbors
with our tongues
instead of being
disciples of Jesus Christ
God's only begotten Son.

5) L is for Love

And we have been set free to love God
and one another. We can be a part of
helping hands to help our neighbors
living in poverty.

6) Overcoming Depression

Whenever I am feeling;
lonely, sad, or blue;
dear heavenly Father:
I freely seek my
solace from you.

7) Blessed are they which
do hunger and thirst
after righteousness;
for they shall be filled.
Mathew 5: 6 NIV

'Wait like Sarah
Protect like Rahed
Trust like Ruth
Lead like Esther
Rejoice like Mary.'
Quotation.

8 'The only way to have a
Friend is to be one.'
Quotation.

Your very best friend can
be Jesus Christ both
the author and the
source of everlasting life.

Your former life style
has perished. Jesus
Christ has given
you a fresh brand new
start in life.

9 'Act Justly Love Mercy
grateful thankful
blessings Jesus Christ.'

' Jesus Christ when He
Walked among men
Walked as the very
Humblest of them.'
personal quotation.

10 'Blessed are the meek
for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are the pure in heart
for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers
for they shall be called the
children of God.'
Excerpts from the Beatitudes.

Part Two original draft of my New Year's Resolutions,
Final draft only contains a great country music song
written in the 1950's only.

***'We earn a living by what we earn
We live our lives by what we give.'

*** 1 Samuel 15: 12 states, 'Behold to obey is better than
sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.' KJV

*** For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given: and
the government will be upon his shoulders. And He will
be called: Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The
Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9: 6

***Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears
my voice and opens the door, I will come into him, and
I will dine with him and he with me. Revelation 3: 20

***For His anger is but for a moment in His favor is for life;
Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the
morning. Psalm 30: 5

***The glory of young men is their strength, and the splendor
of the old men is their grey head. Proverbs 20: 29

***'Come unto me, all of you who are weary and heavy laden
and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn
from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will
find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden
is light.' Mathew 11: 28-30

***And you may come unto me
Very often and very surely
For by your side forever
I will always stay
And always abide with Thee.

Trials may come and go
But one thing you may
Surely know; You need never
Be troubled or remain afraid.
For lo, I am with thee
Unto the ending of your
Earthly days.

So not let your heart
Remain troubled for
When you call upon Me;
I will always answer you,
For now and for always
Forever and evermore.
Love in Christ Jesus!

A personal message from Jesus Christ
To yours truly.

***Behold I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth: shall
ye know it? I will make a way in the wilderness, and rivers
in the desert. The beats of the field shall honor me the
dragons and the owls: because I give water in the desert,
to give drink to my people, my chosen. This people I have
formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.
Isaiah 43: 19-21.

***Our LORD is our Shelter because He is our Rock in whom
we hide in the time of storm. He is a great Rock in a weary
land. 'Each will be like a hiding place from the wind, a shelter
from the storm, like streams of water in dry places. Like the
shade of a great rock in a weary land.' Isaiah 32: 21

I Know Who Holds My Hand.
Ecc.3: 1-15 A Great Old Country Song 1950

I don't know about tomorrow;
I just live from day to day,
I don't borrow from its sunshine
For its skies may turn to grey
I don't worry o'er the future
For I know what Jesus said,
And today I'll walk beside Him,
For He knows what lies ahead.

Chorus

Many things about tomorrow
I don't seem to understand
But I know who holds tomorrow
And I know who holds my hand.

Every step is getting brighter
As the golden stairs I climb;
Every burden's getting lighter;
Every cloud is silver-lined.
There the sun is always shining;
There no tear will dim the eye;
At the ending of the rainbow
Where the mountains touch the sky.

I don't know about tomorrow;
It may bring me poverty.
But the one who feeds the sparrow,
Is the one who stands by me.
And the path that is my portion
May be through the flame or flood.
But His presence goes before me
And I'm covered with His blood.
