As I close out the old and enter the new
A few take homes of mine from 2022
I learnt to trust my Breath as it eased my mind
Dug a bit deeper to practice being kind
Tried not shy away from feeling too much
Embraced being an empath, my magic touch
Stopped with excuses and got over myself
Understood the importance of mental health
Encountered situations that truly tested my resolve
Tried not to repeat mistakes
Took the space to evolve
For whatever comes next
I'm willing and ready
I'll make a conscious effort
To take it slow and steady
