if we as poets constantly remind people of the sacrifices and pains and compassion of women then the world will become a better place to live. the Lord said the meak shall inherit the earth and it gets me to wonder if he meant the women!

Let us hope that people realise that how important these womens are and learn to respect them. No society will flourish without their hard work at home and in work place.

A powerful poem. Sad that many have forgotten the sacrifices that their mother made and the pains they went thru to get their children here. Thanks for sharing and POD.

Men have forgotten that from women they came Nine months of joys and bodily pains. They are mothers, sisters and aunts too You don't know what they've gone through. A great appraisal and eulogy of women. a very fine poem. tony

Excellent poem on the abhorrent abuses of women. And them standing up for their rights. It took a lot of courage on their part. And more is needed to stand up to powerful bullies like Trump. Louis, Congratulations on Poem Of The Day!
