remembers her standing at the canebrake where the buffalo cooled shoulder-deep in the water, You have a lovely way of painting a picture with your words. Reading through this was like watching a scene from a film, but then to realise that this could be all true sends shivers down my spine. Very well penned. Thanks for sharing Annette.
