What a wonderful poem, Captain Cur! Your experiences in the battle field added to the game of chess has produced a beautiful write!
Very nice captain. i like to join you A day and play chess together. brilliant write.
La tour is 'the rook' and means 'tower'. Le tour is 'the round' or 'the lap'. Le Tour de France is 'the lap of France'. I played a game where both players lost their knights and bishops early on. The grid remaining was very mathematical.
