Hi Eyan - You asked a question so I guess you want an answer. If a person is knifed or shot and dies as a result - its tragic but its final. We mourn - we bury - we celebrate the life and then have to move on. The loved one who has died - in tragic circumstances - their life (however short) is now complete. We mourn the death - but in celebrating the life we have much consolation. The second death you mention is much worse because it is living death. There is no funeral - no celebration - no closure. We can be victims of death by jealousy - hatred - pride and we need real strength from the Lord to get through each day - but each day is MURDER. Your poem has a warning for us to examine all our relatioships to make sure we are not responsibe for condeming someone to A LIVING DAETH. I would much rather go out quickly as the result of a terrorists bullet than die a slow daeth of shame - persecution - ignomy because someone stuck the knife of jealousy into me but forgot to twist it! An interesting poem Eyan with great imagination. Jealousy uncontrolled can be devastating and can lead to catastrophic events. Jealousy is also found in animals I found out so is not just confined to the human race. You asked what the opposite of jealousy is and I would say it is indifference. Well penned. 10 love Karin

jealousy can be cured...just be open, , tell her/him that u r jealouse..try to consider things so that this 2 sins can be healed..jealousy is caused from unequal treatment..so try to be fair...well, this is only my oipinion..lav ya..lav ya..
