An honest poem.yes, poets are still finding subjects to write about in this war torn world. the Classical art forms like Allegory are useful AND POWERFUL TO GIVE A strong message.

I gather you are living in the UAE. Why mention that? Makes me think of repression and so on, which your poem on its own doesn't directly.
