2 Chicks Raising Chicks Poem by Randy McClave

2 Chicks Raising Chicks

I have heard of ladies raising flowers
Upon days and into many long hours,
They nurture them into beauty as they will grow
Then their beauty to the world they will show.
They are said to had been born with a green thumb
With that wonderful gift God had gifted some,
That is what I am always expected to see
When I hear talk about any well cultured lady.

2 chicks pie chart is exactly this
As one day, years from now they will reminisce,
Chickens is all that they think about
As the rooster crows, they will happily jump and shout.
They name their chickens and they take their pictures
As though they are some very exotic creatures,
And for their chickens they will excitedly go shopping
And more chicks on the ground they wanna see hopping.
They talk about their chickens as if they are a child
In photo albums the chick pics and ages are compiled,
And to keep them happy and always in a group
They buy their chicks their own double decker chicken coop.

I have heard of ladies raising kittens
But, I have never heard of ladies raising chickens,
But, there is 2 ladies who are raising chicks
And they are called the 2 ladies from the sticks.
These ladies raising chickens are of course also called hens
And of course they are also very good friends,
Chickens and more chickens is always on their brain
And one day those chickens, will all be eaten in vain.
