Beautiful loving words- I forgave you my dear When the colourful dreams fell From the branches of my mind and heart. nice 10++++++
A heart-warming poem; the candid expression of an open heart - a heart filled with love. A lovely poem!
And by forgiving, you shall gain enormous strength in mind body spirit. Beautifully expressed emotions in artful poetry.
You have sounded a deep well here, good poet. Forgiveness....what really is it? Is it really forgetting? I do not think so. If someone stabs me, I may forgive him, but every time I see the scar, I will remember. You may break my heart, and I can forgive you, but every time my mind recalls your face, I will remember you, and forgive you again. Forgiveness is not an act, but a state of being. To illustrate a little more humorously, how can you write a poem announcing that you have forgotten the things that you detail to us what your lover did to you. :) Yes, much to meditate upon, and your well-written piece brings these considerations into the light. I love the image of your colorful dreams turning pale. Again, well-written, good poet. Thank you.
Thank you for asking me to comment. Such a difficult subject. Best wishes, Joe Hughes
