Like an innocent convict/Chained in a lone cell. Two excellent lines in a poem that is full of vivid dreamy images. Worthy of the Big 10!

There are some good images here: the lost glow, the innocent convict, the neither dead nor living virus. Should 'role' be 'roll'? I find the reference to Christmas Day somewhat jarring and irrelevent to the rest of the poem. Good work!

You are right dear poet. It must be 'roll'. It was a typos. Thanks for correcting the mistake.

Beautiful penning, I can relate to your poem, moisten eyes at these lines: My heart is helpless Like an innocent convict Chained in a lone cell.

This is a melancholy piece, leaving the reader disturbed. We wonder, what dream you lost? Will it truly come back to you, as you hope? And we are left, even as the last note of a symphony can still be heard in the heart after the music has stopped. Nicely done, good poet.

What a beautiful poem it is! Thrilling expression. The last stanza is most attractive and meaningful. Let me read it again, ...Not for a single day, Not for a single month, I've been waiting for a year Expecting my lost dream Coming back to me again On the Christmas Day.
