i like it. here is my address. please send small bills.
as for waste by charities, i suppose it happens. and outright thievery at times. but humans are humans, and when my boss (at home) complains about charity CEOs or Presidents getting a six figure salary, i think to myself, perhaps they earn it by raising lots of money which would not be raised otherwise. and when a mailed appeal arrives with a nickel or seven cents glued to the letter and sometimes showing through the envelope's window, or when charities send stickers, note pads, calendars, etc. as gifts to prospective (perhaps past) donors, i think such things may make people feel guilty if they don't send 'something', so perhaps the ends justify the means. PLUS, the post office profits, and, being a postal retiree, i see my annuity continuing a little longer!
it is nice [very, very nice] to give skin, but i'd bet you/we could find some charity, big or little, which we could feel comfortable about giving cash. perhaps cash and skin! i give a little of both.
thanks Profanisaurus. don't forget your PH friend, Bri! don't lose my address. send BEFORE i die! bri :)
