15th August Poem by Mohammad Muzzammil

15th August

As the sun rises on this August morn,
A day of freedom and pride is born,
The tricolor flag flutters high,
With hope and dreams that touch the sky.

It's the Independence Day of India,
A time to celebrate with fervor,
To honor the heroes who fought and died,
To gain freedom and with it, pride.

Gandhi's call for non-violence,
Bose's army's brave defense,
Nehru's speech that moved the nation,
Patel's unifying administration.

Together they fought for liberty,
To break the chains of slavery,
To declare to the world, our sovereignty,
And become a nation of integrity.

Today, as we remember their sacrifice,
We pay homage to their vision and enterprise,
And renew our commitment to uphold,
The values of freedom, justice, and love.

So let's raise our voices in unison,
And sing the national anthem with passion,
Let's celebrate our nation's glory,
On this Independence Day of India's story.
