'john', before i go any further/farther? i will add this to MyPoemList. i am looking forward to reading the sequel; i saw you have one listed. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - i like the following lines (and quite a few more) especially. your descriptions are wonderful. but i will make two embedded comments on the first lines i copied, as follows: now they down cast and gray [they are or they're? downcast] and full of shame and sadness your face no longer shines like small son [do you mean to write (a) small sun? or are you wanting like (the) small son.............as in the baby jesus? ? ? ] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - a mass of scabs and scars now on your back hanging limply from both your shoulders wow! - - - - - - - - - - - now it’s just a sad tangled mess plastered to your head your circlet has all melted and burnt away - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - thanks for sharing. i may suggest this to others. :) bri
