hmmmmmm so true......live life to the fullest...well penned
Someone once said life his not boring, because you never know what is coming next. Your poem is full of not knowing what’s next, plane, flame, bungee jumping I like it, I like it a lot.
A awe-inspiring poem, lucid and beautiful, love it.10+
Take the challenge if opportunities when come, strike while the iron is hot! Good thought, a 10 for me!
Dee, Blimey, that was rhymey - - - all the obvious... but, still so well put into verse, ... I know this does not rhyme; but, it was pretty just the same. B.V.A.
Anything is possible if you set your mind on it, life is adventure itself so why wait when it can be done now! Good advice in poetry Dee. High marks.
I wish I could follow your advice as perfectly as you wrote this poem
Love the title...love the poem. I agree 100% A quote from the movie 'Auntie Mame' 'Life's a banquet. And most poor fools are starving.' Ain't it the truth! ! ! xxElysabeth
i took your advice and jumped from a plane and now i'm in traction. Did i forget something? Where's my lawyer... Seriously, tho, great sentiment. It's a very fine art to tug on the heart strings without being too sentimental. Nice work.
I am so impressed with this poem! It was just what I needed right now to shake some of my dreams up and get me chasing them again...for that I Thank U Dee! I have not read much of your poetry as of yet but I sure look forward to reading more of your work very soon! 10 stars. Brilliant poem.Keep sharing from the heart, =Shelley=
Dee, I'm loving the 'can do'/ carpe diem attitude. Inspiring and motivational. (I must confess I'll still be reaching for the car keys though) . t x
Dee, I don't know why I didn't come along sooner. Hesitant maybe. But I'm learning to seize the moment. Loved the uplifting feel of this poem. Thanks for sharing it. David
Dee, glad I jumped in here. Don't know what I was afraid of before! This is so upbeat and get on with life in attitude that I love it. The delivery is casual and so easy to read and yet it is profound at the same time. xx jim
Purposeful by every measure and truly encouraging! Well done, Dee! ! Brian
Ms. Dee I like your poem. That is so true. I think about the things that I am destined to do, and...this poem causes me think about them even more...Thank you!
My own p[ersonal philosophy, CARPE DIEM - nicely penned in almost conversational tone. Nice free rhythm
Very correct Dee, You have just reminded me about Osho(Guru Rajnish) and his book Awareness. Nice write.
Excellent poem Dee, You are right. Being afraid is a set back in life. I know. I stayed with someone for so long because it was easier then being alone. Your so right. I knew the second year of our relationship was in trouble but I stayed. Also I had children and I did not want to confuse them. I thought by leaving my boyfriend I would somehow mix them up since they had no father. I didn't want all sorts of different relationships.
Open up the curtain and come out, It is a beautiful day outside. Hey, I think I will even take that 10k walk. Thank you for this.
I really enjoyed your poem til the last stanza. Sometimes rhyme minimalizes your art as it did in the last line.
