065. You Poem by Dipankar Sadhukhan

065. You

Rating: 5.0

In the sky of my mind
When evening comes
And I am flummoxed
In the ocean of darkness,
You rise in my mind's sky.
Like the Evening Star
To guide me with the light
Of your Divine Love.

In the sky of my heart
When night falls
And darkness pervades,
You appear like the bright moon
To dissipate the darkness
From my heart
With the mesmerizing beams
Of your Divine Love.

In the long summer days
When my nerves get tired
And my heart becomes thirsty,
You appear in my heart's sky
Like the cloud
To quench the thirst
With the cool showers
Of your Divine Love.

In severe cold in Winter
When my blood is about to freeze
And my cells suffer from cold,
Like the bright sun you rise
In the firmament of my heart
To beshield me from cold
With heat and light
Of your Divine Love.
