very touching words are they very touching intrepretation to the symbols too. Life... there occurs many instances which takes away our hopes and dreams all of a sudden and we stand before, with some unkonwn unanswered questions Why? What for? How to escape? .... nothing answers.... But only one way remains just...just go on with the stream... unquestioning the causes and consequenses.... words direct from the heart... regards sandhya

Through her window, lonely Looking out from her bed She saw the flower bright So full of hope budding out The upper portion of the window It showed her the bird in flight Flight from life, torment and pain The pale fingers they held in them Not just a brush soaked in paint But a gift of joy, love and hope Even when drenched in showers of pain! A sad heart you leave me with Poet friend when I read this poem My tears they kiss the fingers Of the little girl who held your hand! Walking with you through your pains & tears Leena

One feels that the tears of the poet fall silently through all the stanzas of this exceptionally beautiful piece, Grief knows no margins, you do not weep alone. Always your friend, Sandra

this is heart wrenching, somehow i know what you are talking about. i visit a beautiful cancer hospice run by the mostgentle, devoted sisters i have seen, who try to do everything to make these terminally ill patients happy, comfortable. palliative care is most crucial for these patients to live a life of dignity. Prem Ji i agrfeel this poem is really beautiful, sad, also depicting man; s courage in the face of adversity. it is timeless, Mamta
