I've often wondered how Lazarus must have felt when he came back from the dead. I liked this poem because of its simple honesty with more than a dollop of dry wit.

Michael, your thoughtful poem reminds me of this quote by Elizabeth Kubler Ross 'people are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within'.
