Michael this poem offers much human nature, only I usually call my “thick skin” my favorite defense mechanism “Intellectualization'. :) Gosh darn it... I would be lost without it. Thin skin is rare, and usually spied by a predator, so the transition between the two has now become just another exhale. I may “look like a mouse” to the vulture, lol- but spy these spears of my dark side. :) I enjoyed the poem for all the flow of familiarity, and the intriguing concept.

Michael, very insightful. I think the thick skinned suits are selling better these days... that seems to be what everyone's wearing. Good write! Brian
