Very nice to read this poem. I like it really very much. After reading this poem, I read it again. It gives your reader the feeling that you are the one person that should be among our best friends. Only bright poets with a truly loving heart can make this type of masterpieces. If my votes would register, I would give it a 10 + (but since I joined the web site, my first 3 votes went fine and ever since voting became impossible)

This is one of the more enjoyable poems I have read in awhile, Colin, and I like very much how you told this fine tale metaphorically in your outstadning poem. I also liked your author's note, kindly giving us readers a bit of the 'back story' behind this fine poem. I always enjoy expressive poems and this one was a genuine delight to read. Carl.

I read this poem and it made me think of the last 2 lines in my poem 'Pretend'. If you have time maybe you can read it? Thanks! Deborah Cromer

Two differences to make one of the same. We are all a part of the whole in some way or another. Good poem and nice to read. DC

This is romantic poetry, everyone is inspired when love is compared to flowers. Flowers possess the beauty that love has when i bloom. Worth 10 because I enjoyed it..
