You wrote this in the way in which you did to give it the flow. It works, and I would expect nothing less. Yet if you hadn't, I would say the same as now. M, this is deeply touching; I am aware of a little of the background; it is, think, one of the 'best' pieces I have ever read. 'Best' is not the word since this is not a piece which lends itself to that sort of judgment; but you know what I mean. t xx
