This is closer to the original slogan. But i wonder how come one can forget a translation done by one so soon! Ridiculous! ! ---------------------------- i forgot myself while doing the rework; one beauty you know-the word file for this translation work is named ' udaiththanai vanchap piraviyai'; still i have redone; infact it was the first stanza i translated in my life! Shri Abhirami Bhattar also told the king it was ' Full moon day' when it was ' New Moon Day' if that was divine and made Abhirami standby Her Child why i am accused as foolish and ridiculous? am i not another child of Abhirami like Abhirami Bhattar? am i out caste in terms of Bhakthi? no, i also have the same love; infact i never realised that i am doing this translation work; its you and Abhirami ....................................................................................................................

The second one is more explanatory since there is a purport underneath the translation. It generally happens when we read for the second or third time, we feel like making further refinment over what we have done previously. I feel we should give more importance to the message behind the poem, side by side on the rhyming and selection of suitable words. Please don't look back. i read both of your translations; one thing is clear; in your earlier translation you seemed to be in a supermarket purchasing everything; this recent version gives the impression that you are settled and comfortable with Abhirami and trying to do justification to the great works of Shri Abhirami Bhattar; i challenge that if you review the other translations also you will end up like this so read read and read more so that you can do some good translation work..hope you get me right....i can give 5 out of 10 dear…try to improve yourself..poetry is not fast food available next door …clear? better luck next time..
