l am smiling over your carrot story. I planted a small vegetable garden up here in the mountains. My carrot crop was prolific but grew in clay and I struggled to find a way to pull them up without damage and then again to remove that clay. Using the kitchen sink was out the question...clay is not too good for plumbing. ...rambling on... I want you to know, I enjoyed this penning much and too, your weekend offering of 'Sandy Claws, Avenger from the Ocean of Goodwill.' On reflection Sandy Claws would make a great homily.
