Poem by Neeraj Kumar

I didn't know the time will change
Darling your love your faith will fade
And when I'll be gone
I hope you'll call my name
Even if we never make it till the end
I will love you the same, the same

Let the story begin
One happily married couple
Where one could die for the other one
Promises, vows, They got each others back
But who knew that time will change
Good will snap into bad
Or should I say worse?
Now she hates me
Doesn't want to face me
Where the love is lost?
She went cold like her heart froze
Acting Crazy, throwing things
She doubting me for having a fling
Behind her back
Just because I come home late
Sometimes I don't even show up
But honey you got to understand
I spend all the nights working extra shifts
To get you all the things your dad could afford and I couldn't

I didn't know the time will change
Darling your love your faith will fade
And when I'll be gone
I hope you'll call my name
Even if we never make it till the end
I will love you the same, the same

Who's she?
She's asking me
I'm having a hard time handling it
She's screaming, hollering
Making noises, shouting
It's just too pathetic she ain't getting it
She's acting like she's got a demon in her head
And she wants to take it out on me
Now there she goes, pointing a gun out on me
Please stop honey! you're overreacting!
Put down the gun, before you get hurt
In the struggle of seizing the gun
She gets shot, through her neck
Bullet goes straight through her throat
She fells down, blood all over the floor
I look into her eyes, she's trying to say some
She touches my face for the last time
Then she goes away
