Samar Brahma Chaudhury (1932-1991) -सबेन; was a modern Bodo romantic poet and politician, he wrote romantic poems in his early poetic career, he contributed immensely to the development of modern Bodo poetry. He was Son of Malsingh Brahma, Born at village Phatakata, Kokrajhar. Ed; at Cotton College. Married; Sondya Rani Brahma (daughter of Rupnath Brahma), he become MP of 8th Lok Sabha from Kokrajhar (ST) Constituency.

Rupnath Brahma (1902-1968) -रुपनाथ; was a social leader, talented poet and essayist of the BIBAR epoch. His poems mostly mystic in character. He was also first minister from the Bodos. Son of Dhajendra Brahma, born at village Bansbari, near Kokrajhar town, March 1902. Ed; at Cotton College, Gauhati and Calcutta University Law College. Married; Damanti Brahma, 1920 and Swarnamani Brahma 1958. He was Cultivator member of the ministry Sub-Committee and Tribal Sub-Committee of the Constituent Assembly. Member of Legislative Assembly 1937-1967 and Minister of Assam Government 1938-1967. He was become Member of Parliament 4th Lok Sabha from Kokrajhar (ST) Constituency. He is credited with helping established Brahma Dharma.

Nileswar Brahma (1927-1986) -नीलु: was a social worker, lyricist and the first singer in Gramophone Record from the Bodos. who sang Bodo Folk songs. He participated in the IPTA state Conference at Silchar in 1947.

Dharendra Nath Basumatary (1902-1972) -दारेन: was a poet and dramatist of the Bibar-Alongbar epoch. He was a gifted playwright who had his training in writing and direction in Kolkata. He wrote historical plays like Nilambar, Sonani Maibang, Rangalu Jwhwlao. He wrote social and mythological plays like Bima Bathul, Chitrangada, Anasan Kalasan, Danek Raja, Sukharu Dukharu, Juli Bijuli, Nihari. As a playwright D.N. Basumatary laid emphasis on dramatic action, characterisation and humour.

Satish Chandra Basumatary (1901-1974) -सतिस: Son of Thandaram Basumatary and Khoulou Basumatary. He edited the first Bodo magazine BIBAR in 1924. He was also associated with the Assam Tribal League. He was the President of Dhudnoi session of the Bodo Sahitya Sabha held in 1968. He was born on 19 November 1901 and died on 16 November 1974. Who has left immense contribution to every sphere of Bodo social, cultural and literary life.

Jadav Chandra Kaklary (1895-1966) -जादब: son of Bhaodia Kaklary. Though he was born at Joypur, he settled at Kachari Pathar village near Dhuliajan later on. Jadav Chandra Kaklary was closely associated with Boro Cattra Mahasanmilani and a Tribal League. He submitted a memorandum to the Simon Commission on behalf of the Assam Kachari Jubok Sanmilan. He also met the Simon Commission at Shillong on January 4, 1929 along with Gurudev Kalicharan Brahma (1860-1938). He was elected to the Assam Assembly from Saikhowa Constituency in 1952. He was born on 1895 and died on 7 February 1966.

Fwrlang Babaji (1874-1939), Nepal Chandra Brahma (फोर्लाँ), who set up the Roumari Jyoti Ashram (the ashram is located at Roumari village, Chirang district near Bongaigaon) and reviewed the cultural activist among the Bodos. Babaji, a disiple of Gurudev Kalicharan Brahma (1860-1938).

Madaram Brahma (1903-1990) was a poet, dramatist and social worker. His poems were mostly mystic in character and inspired. Born in 1903 at Dhundhunikata vilage of Dhubri (son of Soswana Brahma and Baisagi Brahma). He was awarded the prestigious Padmashree in 1988. He was confereed this award for (Literature & Education) his famous mystic poetry book Boroni Gudi Sibsa arw Aroj. he was also first BDO (Block Development Officer) from the Bodos and first Padmashree award winner from Bodos. He is credited with helping established Brahma Dharma.

Ishan Mushahary (1915-1940) was a romantic poet and was the first recognised Bodo story teller whose story ABARI was published in the journal Hathorki Hala edited by Promod Chandra Brahma (1916-1992) in 1940. Ishan Mushahary died young at the age of twenty five. He left behind two collection of poems entitled Sonani Mala (Garland of gold) and Phami ( The lotus).
