Phoenix Feniks Poems

It could've been beautiful.
My pain could've sung a hummingbirds tune,
instead it screamed and wheezed as it weeped.
My tears could've slid down my cheeks as crystals

I fell in love with hope at a young age.
As i grew older i learnt to lean on hope's shoulder,
my mind full of maybes
yet no solid answers.
...

3.

I am dirty,
the personification of a deranged dog
that's fur is clumped together
and ribs that stick out from it's skin.
...

You can call my phone
but i won't answer.
For i am not where you left me,
my number has changed.
...

I am 12,
my window is wide open
as i inhale the soft summer's breeze.
Nothing bad has happened to me yet-

Beautiful

It could've been beautiful.
My pain could've sung a hummingbirds tune,
instead it screamed and wheezed as it weeped.
My tears could've slid down my cheeks as crystals
in the golden light,
instead they left marks in the corner of my eyes
and burns along my face.
It could've been beautiful.
I could've been beautiful.
