The love I had for you is all now gone
I killed it off with a silver shotgun

PROCESS
Arrive too afraid to even speak
To strange house on Irish peak
...
TODAY
It seems we get so used to things so quickly
A life lived, easily forgotten and left behind
...
A year of no regrets? Would surely wanton abandon would ensue?
Intriguing experiment it could be, to play with the role of a free me.
...
One is the loneliest number that you will ever know
One hope for redemption from the darkness below
...
An evening spent with the children of the children of the holocaust
Different lives

I wish I didn’t have to work tomorrow
Not have to face the pain or the sorrow

Will You?
Plunge yourself deep inside
Into the dark interior of me
The mystery that lies within
You felt it there
Then withdrew
Moistening my stomach with you
We part across an open field
The tree finally divides us
I touch the leaves
As they shield me from view
Now two days on, no words
Have passed between us.
Have I been used?
Abused?
Again?
Or am I the user?
Either way I lose.
Wish it could be different this time
That my push away did not work
So very effectively
And instead you say
‘I want to be with you’
‘This is right and true’
‘Take my hand and I will show you,
What real love can be’
But I don’t think love wants me
To feel its searing heat
Just yet
Likes me out here in the cold
Behind the leaves
Shielded from view
And maybe
Just maybe
It isn’t right with you
