Aaaaaaah! ! !
Were the screams of my labouring mother
Even in the presence of consolation and encouragement
Her problems remained dormant like a rural settlement
...

Let us be true to ourselves;
it's God we need.
We've called this shovel a space for too long,
we have stirred the pot of deception so many times
...

Find the man under the mask;
Broken under the smiles.
Like amthe king chess piece
Without his knights, he lacks peace
...

She emits a powerful aura.
Her night wails;
high pitched, yet inaudible,
as she mutters words to her deity on my behalf.
...

Silent silence
interrupted occasionally by my raging heartbeat
My mind,
a playground for angels and demons;
...

I, hers am.
Her cheek lay bare on my desolate palm
My thatch heart,
her home.
...

7.

The way you talk
Like an orchestra of singing birds
Glorious and bewildering
...

Birthday girl
Snow once again fell
Or it's just your beauty that sent shivers down my spine
As my heart longs for the day I'll call you mine.
...

9.

Fire and ice.

Like fireflies
and tingling skies
...

Love is a free bird
Let it out of the cage

Love is a raging fire
...

11.

A lad; imperfection.
I'll keep my eyes on Him; perfection.
Till I can blatantly proclaim, I'm_perfection.
...

12.

If your heart only fears
Teach it to strengthen

If your eye only tears
...

My resolution
In this generation

Is to spread God's word
...

14.

HOPE
In order for life not to cheat us
We must make our life 100% Jesus
He is the way, the truth and the life
...

Grace
A free gift from God
Given to all who call Him Lord
That they may hear His word
...

Wake up you sinful world
Hearken this day to my word
For you have forsaken the commandments of the Lord
And have become an unholy people in the sight of God
...

I have an addiction
Existing without my permission
Endangering me to constant depression
Leading me to utmost destruction
...

18.

Black is beautiful,
just like the stars.
Black is not a fool,
don't leave us with scars.
...

2019

The devil's drum beat aloud
All life danced to it's aching rythm
...

20.

Dreams don't just die; they get murdered
by the same person they were supposed to be mothered.
Dreams don't just become nightmares.
They get hidden in dark rooms and locked beneath broken chairs.

My Mother, My Wonder

Aaaaaaah! ! !
Were the screams of my labouring mother
Even in the presence of consolation and encouragement
Her problems remained dormant like a rural settlement

Before then, knowing the pain and anguish to be experienced
She still carried this load for nine months without being tensed
Running to and fro, helter skelter
From one prenatal care to yet another

Her mind, filled and congested
Thinking about the day I'll be ejected
Fully assured I will wipe out sorrow
If I decided to come even tomorrow

And so, the day finally came with no worry
In the beautiful month of January
Fear engulfed her eyes
That she could see beyond the skies

As she walked to the theatre that day
Flashbacks came to her head like it was throw back Thursday
With God and her loving husband, my father, by her side
She knew it was going to be a smooth ride

Seconds counted into minutes
And everyone waited for the news to calm their anxious spirits
Sounds of distant wailing
Demanded of them to start praying

Finally, the deed was done
And baby David was born
And for the first time since I began growing hair
I was able to breathe air

The cry of her healthy baby boy
Brought hope, happiness and joy
The fulfilment of God's prophecy
For all of mankind to hear of and see

All because of one wonder woman
A very special human
She is my mother
She will always be my wonder
