Soar

my mind soars like a bird
far too great to belong
to a nation alone

it's a totem for the world
and the theme of this song
snatching skyward your mind
where it can see and find
the prey that you prayed for
so many days and nights

way more than a metaphor
it's a means to a great life
where you're no longer poor
without grasp and eyesight
but an eagle forevermore

deep down a human life
conquering high above
(what was hard walking by)
farther by feathers of Love
fathered by the Father-God

both brown arms of Jesus Christ
did not fly up with the cross
but now hug the whole blue sky
without the vivid red blood
that made your garment pure white...

INSIDE THE EAGLE DRAW A DOVE
(THAT AFTER YOUR EGO IS GONE)
WHICH REPRESENTS THE HOLY GHOST
