Namukolo Covic is Registered Nutritionist with interest in poetry. She has a PhD in Human Nutrition and aims to use poetry to expand the reach of messages on agriculture, food systems and nutrition in addition to other life dynamics. She only started writing poetry recently starting with a poem aimed to promote ongoing efforts of the United Nations Food Systems Summit 2021. Her poem 'I am your food system for you to transform' has been featured on the Sustainable Development Goals (SGD2) Advocacy Hub website. Her second poem was inspired by the dynamics of mask wearing for prevention of COVID-19 infection.
