Nagwere Gerald, known as the Virgin Poet is a Ugandan poet, author, editor and publisher. His notable publications include; Faces of Love, Lead Like a Dog, and The Masaka Massacre. Gerald is a graduate Education Officer of English and Literature in English.
I watch my state in turmoil
Yet I'm too frail to stage a rebellion.
Have I not heard men's syringes and berries
Screwed as they moan in pain?
