In the moment of uncertainty,
Almost given me a mental crack;
And I've started testing my loyalty.

I am bleeding and falling apart
But no one is paying attention.
I am getting vulnerable and fragile;
Everyone seems to be hostile.

Let us go on a journey of love,
Tread upon valleys, hills and fields,
Under the mountains and above,
Through the long, thick trees.

As I walk into this room,
An inevitable feeling of retrospect 
Befalls me. I behold all 
That has never been there. You—

I behold the sky, and it's empty;
The stars were there and that too plenty.
Shining and dancing were they together;
Promised as if they'd be around forever.

A tree stood alone in the corner;
All the storms made it only stronger.
Seasons came and passed,
But the tree did last.

There was something strange
About that last meeting.
Everyone knew they'd change,
Yet the songs of eternity did they sing.

Minutes, hours, days, weeks,
Months and years go on,
Loneliness, holding my hand,
Treads with me and never
