Morgan Copeland Biography

Born April 16th,1999 in Brooklyn New York, Morgan has always been inspired by works of art, be it music, actual paintings, or poetry. Following in her older sister's footsteps, she began writing poetry at the age of thirteen, and she simply never stopped. It became a way for her to not only express herself but to quiet the noise in her head. She used poetry to get through the toughest times in her life. Her grandmother's death, the ending of both her first and second relationships and her discovery that she was bisexual. And she believes without a doubt that she will continue to use poetry as support throughout her life. She has seven siblings, loves dogs and aspires to be both a published author/poet and be a middle school writing teacher.
