Freer than me; but how free am I?
with a sigh, I remain on high,
for a time at least,
untilthe great feast.

...

The breakers fall in the sea one by one.
The ones on the end I cant see anymore:
covered by the speckled waves of the swell.
A shoal of shells fall down into the breaker,

...

Why did I not do well in the begining?
when I had so much going. My treadmill
was working in escolation: my thoughts in rhymn.

...

I stood on the road at first
watching the great waves
fall over each other in a foam.
The grey tormented sky racing

...

A dandelion rising strong through a crack in the path,
looking strangely wrath;
with a spikey head of yellow,
queer fellow!

...

                    Freer Than Me

Freer than me; but how free am I?
with a sigh, I remain on high,
for a time at least,
untilthe great feast.
How free am I?
am I so free?
Even with God on my side?
He makes so much of me.
I dont always see
what he wants from me.
Like His Son,
take this cup away,
before I change my mind.
Who's mind is it anyway,
do I have no say in this brain of mine? .
He is the vine.
I am the branch,
a wretch.
Not so free you see.
But then who is,
free I mean? .
