Matt Fleming Poems

There are two flags in a frame
The wooden frame surrounded by white
They seem to fly high in the sky
Up high in the sky you see the words
...

A little person inside their mother
You think they will behave
When they exit they are a bother
It makes you want a cave
...

Out in my daddy's car
With my girl to the right
Up ahead a car was stalled
The engine was dead
...

The good old days
When you could get a full tank of gas
With just five dollars
Back when coke was a drink
...

It was a normal day
Coming home from basketball
Get home to supper
Talking to the family
...

Study Hall Sky

There are two flags in a frame
The wooden frame surrounded by white
They seem to fly high in the sky
Up high in the sky you see the words
In god we trust
A little lower but still high
With god all things are possible
I'm seeing two sky's today
One is always clear
The other not everyday
