Luther was not only a great theologian, he was also a loving family man. Once he wrote a lullaby for his 4 year old son John. The first line begins, Wake up, my heart, lift up your eyes! I remember some years ago downloading the original 15 verse (?) version which I edited down to 6 verses. Translated into English by Catherine Winkworth,1829-78.
