Marek Swierad is a novelist, journalist, storyteller,
poet, and traveler. He has lived in many countries
around the world such as: Australia, Russia, Canada,
USA, and Poland. He holds a PhD in Economics and is
a Member of the Polish Writers' Association. He was an
official correspondent in USA and Canada for the Polish
newspaper Dziennik Polski and is an awards recipient
for the 2009 IX Mazowiecki Literature awards that was
presided by Maria Kaczynska, wife of the president of
Poland.
