This was written to my and about my cousin Denise. She is one of the most wonderful people I have known my whole life. I know I have been blessed to have her in my life. If it wasn't for her I don't believe I would be the person I am today. She introduced poetry to me and I have evolved over the years as a writer. She lives a few states away and I love her so much and I want to share it with the world! I was reading poetry she wrote I was so overcome with emotion I wrote this.

You keep making me cry and wishing you were here.
Sometimes is is suffocating in knowing you are there.

This poem was inspired by my cousin Jen. She is one of the smartest people I know and she has made some great accomplishments and I am proud of her.

To look at a person with such pride.
It is what many yearn for in life.
