And should smell fragrant like a red, red rose

Life, a miracle too deep to fathom
And each man adds to the cosmic beat
Human life completes its cyclic round
Passing through stages four

Life, like a practiced comedian on the stage
Keeps smiling and frowning in turn
Under the embers of joy that spark from our hearts
There lies the pulverized heap of shattered dreams

With the peak of spring in the month of May,
In the early hours of a pleasantly sunlit day,
Two kids sat cuddled on a swing,
Feeling as though they were taking on wing.

Dawn slowly slips into dusk
Sun into the deep waters plummet
Day light will pave way to dark
And this in endless succession shall repeat

"All the world's a stage
And all the men and women merely players"

Life – a Puzzle!
More – a Riddle! !
A hard nut to crack!
An Ocean Deep with swirls and twists! !

Is not our life a wave of energy coursing through us
Just like a flickering flame or a fleeting gleam
Which when stopped, like a weed scorched by the sun
Or a tree felled down by a merciless axe, we will lie

But alas! Some dismiss it as mere froth

While life itself is a riddle
Remember, Death is an inexorable puzzle

The moon that fades after lighting the night
The sun that sets after warming the day
The flowers that wither after feasting the eye

My soul breaks into blooms of joy
