Leonard Górski, born on April 27,1953 in Krasnystaw, Poland. After graduating from High School Wladyslaw Jagiello in his hometown,1972, he completed his basic military service and got to study. He studied Polish at the Faculty of Humanities of the Catholic University of Lublin in Lublin in 1975-82, where he obtained a master's degree at the Faculty of Humanities. He worked at the Department of Religious Literature at the Catholic University of Lublin and cooperated with the Editorial Office of KUL Publishers. In 1983-86 he was a teacher in an elementary school in Stanków, near Elblag, Poland In winter 1986 he went to Italy and through the refugee camp in Latina near Rome, in June 87 he got to the United States, where he is currently staying. He lives in New York.
He published poems in the Poezja, Ekspresja, Nestor and in several other Polish magazines.
