Laurie Hotchkiss Cassar Biography

Born the youngest of 3 children, the only girl. Spoiled by my father, my mother began to resent me at an early age. In her own confused and slighted feeings, she used my older brothers to pay me back. They were never taught to respect me, never will. We (the chidren) were the pawns in my parents own abusive, alcoholic life. I do not say this to blame, they were simply products of there own abusive, alcoholic upbringing. And so my life began...
I today am a 44 yr old divorced woman. I have survived child molestation, mental health issues (chronic depression) , addiction (in NA) , to name a few.
I believe in learning from adversity, working on myself and myy own demons, and becoming the change I wish to see in the world.
I am currently grieving the loss of both my parents, Father died Dec.14th,2010, my Mom died May 17th,2011. I will be for some time.
