Laurie is an amazing poet. He can take common cotton and linen words and spin them into silk. He can magically turn a simple poem into a nocturne or a lullaby. What would be a plain rhyme from some lesser poet, from Laurie becomes a heartfelt plea from a lover. I recommend his work for those who want to FEEL touched as by an angel's wings or tender kiss when you finish reading a poem. I cannot get enough of his words and I look often to see what is new.
