Kyler Davis Poems

We were best friends,
Told each other so many things.
But that's where it ends,
And the memory still stings.
...

People say your past defines you,
Well, it can sometimes.
People don't know what you have been through,
Those challenging times.
...

Choosing one group or another,
A friend or foe who knows.
One over the other.
...

People normally say,
That I look weird.
As I decay,
And I teared.
...

Change is normally good,
But not always.
Sometimes people misunderstood,
That we will never fit in.

Losing Friends

We were best friends,
Told each other so many things.
But that's where it ends,
And the memory still stings.
Best friends for years,
Now you are just ghosts.
All the crazy fears,
And all the roasts.
Wish we could go back in time,
To those good old days.
The sadness would be a crime,
The sadness would raise.
I wish we were good,
But we aren't anymore.
I wish we could stay friends like we should,
But friendship creates a war.
