To say you're my grandma
You make me feel it's real
With all the power instilled

A man's pain
There's no time limit on how long it remains
It's hard to find happiness and even harder to maintain

Let's coincide we can do it right
We'll be together to do what ever through any weather

Rain, sleet or snow I have you to hold

Given all that's happened in the past I still hope your doing ok
Even though my last poem ended with I have no more to say

Dirt and rocks truly rule this event
The bugs are our host because we are truly visiting

Their domain without them laying out the welcome map

The world's a beautiful place if you close your eyes
People walk around in a trance like their hypnotized

Try not to make the wrong or you'll end up in jail

It seemed like yesterday when you first called me on the phone
After that moment, I thought about it all night long

You could tell by my response when I came back with the bottle

You know they say that opposites attack
That can't be true because in my life man, it's just not a fact

I feel I'm a good person, it can't be me
...

Here I stand, finding myself alone again
I'm a fool, to think I couldn't lose

Now the count is eight I need to get up or meet my fate

One wrong move can change your life forever
A few seconds of pleasure can become a lifetime of pain
Feeling like life's over, emotional disdain
