There's no time limit on how long it remains

Summer nights heated rains.
My back stains to much to handle.
Up on the mantle a picture of my baby's smile.
The picture is captured in time no longer mine

What a difference a year makes
Just ten months ago I was looking for a place to stay
Trying to get away from a female who only wanted to play

A few seconds of pleasure can become a lifetime of pain

All I ever want to do is go straight home
