Jay Jay you write from the heart and so emotional too. Some of your poems, if not all, I can identify with. When you can make the reader 'see' themselves n those situations, then you have done your job well as writer. What was it Whoopi Goldberg said in Sister Act 2? She was talking to the girl who wanted to be in the choir but her mother wouldn't let her. Whoopi gave her a book, and told her the story of what the author told someone when they said they wanted to be a writer. 'If you wake up in the morning, and say to yourself, 'I want to be a writer' then you're a writer.' I think I will watch that movie later. LOL.
